An example hero. More skills come in updates.

Your hero in plate armour swings a pickaxe at the foundry mine. Your hero smelts ore into bars at a glowing smelter in a barn. Your hero smiths at the anvil by a brick furnace. The Gear screen: your hero in full adamant plate with a gold-trimmed shield, and the stats it gives. A boss duel against the Rootbound Boar in a sunlit forest, with a hit for 25. Victory over the Rootbound Boar: a chest of loot, XP for each skill and Strength levelled up to 47.

Everything connects

  1. Ore
  2. Bar
  3. Sword
  4. Monster
  5. Loot
  1. Mine the ore. Copper and tin at Waymere, iron and coal up at Keptfire.
  2. Smelt it into bars at the smelter or the great furnace.
  3. Smith a sword, then a better one: bronze, iron, steel, mithril, adamant.
  4. Gear up. Archers carve bows by log and leather; mages wear robes and cast Strike spells.
  5. Beat a stronger monster with your new gear.
  6. Take the loot. It drops what you need next, and the XP pours in.
